Next step up from mopeds with an engine capacity or more than 50cc. Great for commuting around busy areas with fantastic fuel consumption.
Sport/Tourer
A blend of performance and long-distance capabilities. Include full or partial fairing plus prominent rider and pillion seating.
Commuter
Built to basic specification with no fairing and an upright riding position.
Custom
Machine style is long and close to the ground with handle-bars either flat or raised, and low seat height.

A very popular motorcycle type that varies in both size and weight.
Tourer
Designed for comfort and long distance road trips. Typical features include a full fairing offering good weather protection, luggage carrying capabilities and a comfortable seating position.
Adventure Sport
Similar in style to Trial/Enduro bikes with long travel suspension but predominantly used on-road. Typical characteristics include luggage, half faired and fly screens.

Also called dual-purpose bikes, to ride on the street and off-road.
